The following Sweepstakes is intended for play in the United States only, and shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. law. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not located in the U.S. at the time of entry.
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. The "Mamma Mia!" Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open and offered only to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., who are 18 years of age and older as of April 28, 2008. Sweepstakes starts at 12:01 a.m. EDT on April 28, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on June 10, 2008 ("Sweepstakes Period").
All entries, whether submitted online or by mail, or deposited in-store (as described below) have an equal chance of winning. Employees and their immediate families (parent, child, sibling or spouse) and/or household members of each (whether related or not) of Lane Bryant Purchasing Corp. ("Sponsor"), Universal City Studios LLLP, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies and any other persons or entities associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter or win. By participating, you agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. Void in Puerto Rico, all U.S. territories and possessions, overseas military installations and where prohibited by law.
2. THREE WAYS TO ENTER:
A). To Enter Via the Internet: During the Sweepstakes Period access www.lanebryant.com and follow the entry instructions. You will be asked to provide your first name, last name, complete mailing address (no p.o. boxes), city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, date of birth and e-mail address. Complete all information requested in the information fields. When your entry is complete, click on the area marked "Enter Sweepstakes" ("Online Entry"). Once submitted, an Online Entry cannot be deleted, canceled or modified. Online Entries must originate through www.lanebryant.com to be eligible. Enter using only an e-mail address subscribed and registered in your name. In the event of a dispute as to Online Entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization, which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
B). To Enter at Participating Lane Bryant Stores: Complete the official Sweepstakes entry form found (while supplies last) at participating Lane Bryant stores between April 28, 2008 and June 10, 2008 and drop the completed entry form in the designated entry box ("In-Store Entry"). ALL IN-STORE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY STORE CLOSING ON JUNE 10, 2008.
C). To Enter By Mail: To enter by mail, without purchase or obligation, send your name, address, city, state, zip code and day and evening telephone numbers with area code hand-printed on a 3-1/2" x 5"piece of paper to: "Mamma Mia" Sweepstakes, 90 Rockwood Place, Rochester, NY 14610 ("Mail Entry"). MAIL ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY June 10, 2008 AND RECEIVED BY JUNE 15, 2008.
Limit of one (1) entry per person, e-mail address and/or mailing address accepted for this Sweepstakes.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, stolen, misdirected, mutilated, delayed, destroyed or postage due entries. Incomplete information may result in disqualification of entry. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of entries allowed. Entries become property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
3. PRIZE DETAILS AND ODDS OF WINNING:
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a five (5) day / four (4) night trip for two (2) individuals to London England ("City") ("Trip") to see the world premiere of Mamma Mia ("Event"), consisting of the following elements: (i) hotel accommodations for two (2) persons (one (1) single standard room, double occupancy); (ii) Round-trip coach air transportation for two (2) persons between the major metropolitan airport nearest winner's residence ("airport of origin") and an airport in or near the City and admission for two (2) to Event. Grand prize winner and travel companion are responsible for complying with all conditions for international travel as may be required by law and airlines, including but not limited to having valid photo ID, passport, and any other documents that may be required.
Airline carrier and hotel regulations and conditions apply. Stopovers are not permitted. If a stopover occurs, the Grand Prize will terminate at the stopover point and full fare will be charged for the remaining segments of the flight. Sponsor (or Sponsor's designee), in its sole discretion, will determine transportation and lodging accommodations. Travel, Event tickets and accommodations are subject to capacity controls, availability, blackout dates and other restrictions, all of which are subject to change at Sponsor's sole discretion. Winner and his/her guest will be solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein including but not limited to round trip transportation between the winner's residence and any airport of origin, taxes, gratuities, parking fees, laundry service, food, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, telephone, in-room services, tips and any other incidentals. If the Event portion of the Grand Prize is cancelled or rescheduled for any reason, Sponsor will not be responsible for awarding that portion of the Grand Prize, but the remainder of the Grand Prize package will be awarded. The Grand Prize awarded consisting of products/services for two (2) people require that you and your companions redeem the Grand Prize together. The Grand Prize will be deemed awarded upon the winner's receipt of Event tickets (or voucher) and travel/lodging confirmation. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen travel vouchers or certificates. The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $4,000 which will vary depending upon points of departure and destination and seasonal fluctuation of hotel rates and airfares. The Trip must be taken between June 28, 2008 and July 3, 2008 or prize will be forfeited.
Fifty (50) First Prize winners will receive a $100 Lane Bryant Gift Card, Four (4) Movie Tickets, Movie Poster, and Movie Collateral item. ("ARV" of $200).
Fifty (50) Second Prize winners will receive a $50 Lane Bryant Gift Card, and Four (4) Movie Tickets, ("ARV" of $98.00).
Four thousand five hundred (4,500) Third Prize winners will receive Two (2) Movie Tickets, ("ARV" of $24.00).
Total approximate retail value of all Prizes will be $126,900. Odds of winning are based upon the number of eligible entries received.
4. DRAWING AND AWARDING OF PRIZE(S): Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received, to be conducted on or about June 15, 2008, by Sponsor, or authorized representative of Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by e-mail, mail and/or phone, and Grand Prize Winner will be required to complete and execute an affidavit of eligibility/compliance/liability release, and, where lawful, a publicity release, to be returned within 3 days of the date notice is sent. Grand Prize Winner's travel companion is required to be of majority age or older in the legal jurisdiction in which he or she resides as of Grand Prize Winner notification or be the child or legal ward of the Grand Prize Winner. Grand Prize Winner's travel companion will also be required to complete, execute and return a liability release form within this same 3-day deadline. Failure to return all required paperwork within this stated time period may result in the forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be selected. All prizes will be awarded assuming a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. Prizes returned as undeliverable or otherwise not claimed within fourteen (14) days after delivery of notification will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes cannot be substituted, except as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Prize with one of equal or greater value should feature Prize become unavailable. Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for other prizes or for cash. All federal, state and local taxes are sole responsibility of Winner.
5. GENERAL: By accepting a Prize, where permitted by law, Winner grants to the Sponsor, its respective parents, subsidiaries and related companies, and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor (which grant will be confirmed in writing upon Sponsor's request), the right to print, publish, broadcast and use worldwide IN ALL MEDIA without limitation at any time the Winner's full name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness and/or biographical information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further payment or additional consideration, and without review, approval or notification. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, Universal City Studios LLLP, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS, SUPPLIERS, PRIZE PROVIDER AND THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, SHAREHOLDERS, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF, OR ANY HARM RESULTING FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZES. By participating, entrants release and agree to hold harmless the Sponsor, Universal City Studios LLLP, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, dealers, distributors, suppliers, Prize providers and their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, death or losses or damages to persons or property AS WELL AS CLAIMS/ACTIONS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, AND/OR INVASION OF PRIVACY that may arise from participating in this Sweepstakes or its related activities or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize(s). Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, or by any technical or human error, which may occur in the processing of the Sweepstakes entries. Sponsor is not responsible for interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer transmissions or jumbled, scrambled or misdirected entries or transmissions, or for phone, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic or for any damage to any person's computer related to participating in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, misdirected or mutilated entries or postage due mail. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this promotion will be collected by Sponsor and used by, its respective parents, its affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes and for marketing purposes as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy as stated at http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/pagebuilder/privacy_policy. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE CO-SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes, and randomly award the Prizes from among all eligible entries received as of such date should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, fairness, proper play or security of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (and all of his/her Sweepstakes entries) who tampers with the entry process. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The interpretation of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any and all disputes will be individually resolved, without resort to class action, in the appropriate courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania exclusively, and subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners acknowledge that Sponsor has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize.
6. USE OF DATA: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, and e-mail addresses from entry forms in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes and providing your e-mail address, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor's collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor's Privacy Policy.
7. WINNER LIST: For the names of the Prize Winners, send a self-addressed, stamped business-size (#10) envelope to: Winners List- ASC/"Mamma Mia" Sweepstakes, 300 State St., Suite 402, Rochester, NY 14614. Winner names will be sent after selection of Winners.
